The Nouveau Classical Project’s First Benefit and Award

The Nouveau Classical Project (NCP) is a New York-based organization presenting classical and new music in multidisciplinary projects that connect emerging composers with diverse audiences. Lead by pianist Sugar Vendil, NCP collaborates with composers to create music for live fashion shows—including those of CFDA winner Pamela Love, Project Runway winner Gretchen Jones. NCP is currently pursuing large-scale projects that challenge traditional performance formats.

I have been following NPC’s forward-thinking productions for years now and I am glad to announce their first benefit! I will definitely be there since I will also be receiving the NCP Visionary Award: an award recognizing innovative leaders whose work promotes emerging artists and has made a significant impact on the new music community. Needless to say I am extremely honored…

Come and support music, musicians, and the emerging artists for whom NCP provides valuable opportunities. I would love to see you there!
