I can honestly say that I’m a Litmus fan. Their latest update really blew my mind. As a result, I was really happy when Kevin Mandeville, designer at Litmus and co-host of the Email Design Podcast—whose work I greatly admire—agreed to share his favorite Chrome extensions with me. Here they are.
I’m a person who has 2,903,294 tabs open at all times. With the OneTab extension, it automatically collapses all open tabs into one single tab with links to each page. It’s the only thing that keeps my browser usage sane.
Benchwarmer is an extension that displays recent Dribbble shots on every new tab you open. You can view people you follow, popular shots, debuts, and everyone. Every shot is linked and you can go right to it on Dribbble as well. It provides inspiration to me throughout the day without needing to ever visit Dribbble’s website. I love it.
Hola is a free community powered VPN, which allows you to access any website in the world on any platform. It’s mainly the best way to change where you’re visiting from so you can watch restricted videos and media in certain regions. I highly recommend it, especially for diehard sports fans =)
XFINITY TV Go
Even though Comcast is a pain of a company, XFINITY‘s online streaming options and capabilities is seriously awesome. Their extension gives a dropdown of what’s on air and lets you jump right into any stream of available live TV channel.
Perhaps an obvious one, but Chromecast is so amazing. You can stream videos from popular apps like Netflix and Hulu right onto your TV – or even mirror your computer screen for the biggest monitor you’ll ever have. Plus, it’s only $35, so it’s a no-brainer.
